The man accused of killing an MSU student outside an East Lansing apartment complex has been charged with murder.
30-year-old Steven Washington, of Tunica, Mississippi, was arraigned Wednesday on one count of open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, and a felony firearm charge.
22-year-old Isai Berrones was shot to death outside the 25 East apartment complex on Abbot Road during a fight on Oct. 12.
Berrones was from Alamo, Texas.
