The man who robbed the Comerica Bank on Michigan Avenue in Jackson last summer was sentenced to at least 30 years in prison Thursday.
A judge gave Marvin White 30-to-50-year sentences for both bank robbery and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
White also got 5 years on another weapons charge. He could have gotten life in prison.
White robbed the bank in June and pleaded guilty in October.
He served 11 years for robbing a bank in 2003.
