Tuesday morning, police officers in Ingham County will come together to honor officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
A memorial service will be taking place at the Ingham County Sheriff's Office in Mason at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday, May 7.
The special ceremony is held at a different law enforcement agency in Ingham County every year to honor Ingham County officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community:

Whitaker, Ingham County Sheriff's Office, 2014
The 2019 ceremony will include a posting of colors by the ELPD Honor Guard, a placing of wreaths on the Ingham County Law Enforcement Memorial, a keynote address by Ingham County Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth and additional ceremonial honors.
A reception will immediately follow the program. Members of the community are invited to attend.
