Meridian Township police to host training program on handling child sexual abuse

The Meridian Township Police Department is holding a training program on how to handle child sexual abuse on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The two-hour training event will teach people how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse, according to a press release.

The training is happening at the Meridian Township Public Safety Building, 5151 Marsh Rd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The training is free and open to the public.
