Michigan COVID-19 cases surpass 100,000; state reports 741 new cases, 6 deaths

LANSING, Mich. — The number of COVID-19 cases in Michigan has surpassed 100,000, the state reported Friday. In total, the number of cases has risen to 100,699.

Additionally, there have been 6,446 deaths, as of Friday.

That's up 741 cases from the day before and six deaths.

As of Aug. 21, a cumulative total of 72,580 have recovered from the virus in the state.
