State Police investigating human remains found

Michigan State Police are investigating the discovery of a skull and other human remains found in Hillsdale County.

The remains were found shortly before noon near Hudson, MI when heavy equipment was being used to move dirt in a quarry.

Investigators have found a skull and other human bones. They are working with forensic anthropologists from Michigan State University to determine the age and sex of the remains. No personal effects or clothing have been found with the bones at the site.
