LANSING, Mich. — Drivers see them on the road every day, a blue Michigan State Police cruiser with a red light on top.
Now, MSP is trying to give its vehicle design some bragging rights. And the agency needs your help.
MSP is in a tight race to be crowned the winner of the best looking cruiser contest run by the American Association of State Troopers. The contest involves patrol cars from all 50 states.
Agencies submit photos of their vehicles to be voted on by the public.
As of Thursday night, Michigan was in second place, about 10,000 votes behind Nebraska.
The winner will be on the cover of the 2020 best looking cruiser calendar.
Voting ends at 3 p.m. July 30 and you can click here to cast your vote.
