There's a party going on all week at MSU as students and businesses prepare for rivalry week.
U of M comes to town on Saturday to take on the Spartans at noon.
One business, "Top of the World" is opening a pop-up store on Tuesday to feature apparel, rivalry gear, and more.
“We are excited to partner with Michigan State and Alumni Hall to launch our first-ever pop-up shop,” said Renata Kukowski, Top of the World Vice President of Licensing & Marketing. “The store will offer a unique experience, not only showcasing the newest Michigan State product but also offering fun and interactive events throughout the week to get students and fans excited for the game.”
The pop-up is at at the East Lansing Marriott at University Place from October 16th through 21st.
Besides merchandise, fans can meet local bloggers, take part in a "selfie" wall, participate in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, win prizes and merchandise.
“We are really excited to partner with Top of the World, one of our top licensed vendors to create a unique shopping experience for fans throughout the rivalry week leading up to the Michigan game, and throughout the weekend,” said Samantha Stevens, Michigan State University Director of Licensing. “We’re also looking forward to bringing in some Michigan State classes and giving them a firsthand learning opportunity when it comes to licensed merchandise, retail product lines and retail marketing.
