SATISH UDPA MIGHT ONLY BE MICHIGAN STATE'S INTERIM PRESIDENT FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS BECAUSE THE SEARCH FOR A PERMANENT PRESIDENT IS UNDERWAY. — Satish Udpa might only be Michigan State's interim president for about six months because the search for a permanent president is underway.
The search began last July.
Last September, the MSU Board of Trustees hired a firm to conduct a nationwide search.
The board is currently accepting nominations and plans to review applications and conduct interviews over the next few months.
A new president is expected to be named in June.
