New footage of ice jam and flood damage in Portland

There's new aerial footage of the damage left behind by the ice jams and flooding in Portland.

Portland Bridge on Grand River and Kent St. A drone captured these images of what the city is currently dealing with.

The ice jams closed all the city's bridges and schools.

Wednesday night we told you Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a State of Emergency in Ionia County.

Portland city leaders say they aren't out of the woods just yet.

"Be vigilant. It's a very unpredictable weather pattern and our river flows with this so we want to make sure that everyone is is conduction due diligence and making sure that their family and property is protected and to contact local authorities if there is an emergency that we need to respond to" says Portland City Manager Tutt Gorman.

City and state police did a flyover Thursday to assess the damage, once that's done they'll figure out what resources go where.
