The priest charged with stealing money from the Parish he helped build is scheduled to be in court Thursday.

The preliminary exam will determine if there's enough evidence to put Father Jonathan Wehrle on trial for embezzlement.

Court documents show investigators believe he wrote nearly $2 million dollars worth of Saint Martha's Parish checks to build his home in Williamston.

The investigation started after the Catholic Diocese of Lansing did a routine audit on Parish finances.

We'll let you know what happens at Thursday's hearing.
