Police investigating armed robbery at Jimmy John's restaurant

East Lansing police are looking for a man who robbed a Jimmy John's restaurant at gunpoint Monday morning.

It happened around 5 a.m. at the East Grand River location near Michigan State University's campus.

Police tell FOX 47 News a man walked in wearing a mask, armed with a gun and demanded cash from an employee.

He ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived. A canine unit was called in to track the suspect but the search was unsuccessful.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

East Lansing Police is asking anyone with information about the robbery to give them a call at 517-351-4220.
