Police are searching for a man considered "armed and dangerous" early Sunday afternoon between Holt and Mason.
Police agencies are searching an area roughly bounded by Harper Road on the north, Edgar Road to the east, Howell & Nichols on the south, and Aurelius Road on the west.
Homes are being evacuated on Aurelius Road between Nichols and Harper, as of 1:45 p.m.
Police say a white man, wearing a white or grey tank top and dark pants, might be in the area. No other description or photo has been released by police.
Officers are asking people in that area to lock their doors and stay inside. They are also asking everyone else to avoid the area while the search is on.
If you see anything suspicious, police are asking you to call 9-1-1.
