A group demanding justice marched Monday at the Michigan State Police headquarters in Dimondale.
The group made up of clergy, activists and citizens protested at the MSP headquarters, demanding the resignation of Colonel Etue and justice for Damon Grimes.
15-year-old Grimes was driving an ATV in August 2016 when he was struck by a taser fired by a state trooper, he then crashed the ATV and died.
The trooper, Mark Bessner, reportedly fired the taser from a moving patrol car, which is a violation of policy.
The group is demanding the resignation of Colonel Etue based on her Facebook post last month where she put up a meme calling NFL players who kneel for the national anthem degenerates.
In response to the killing and the Facebook post, this group of concerned people from Detroit marched at the headquarters of the MSP on Monday, at 2 p.m.
