A recent spike in skin rashes in Flint has many wondering if it's connected to the city's water crisis.
Many people say they started breaking out with rashes shortly after Flint switched its water source back to the Flint river in 2014.
They also say even though Flint has switched back to Detroit's water system the rashes are not going away.
Dermatologists in Flint are now examining those people, free of charge to see if there's a link.
Dr. Walter Barkey said, ""Try to figure out if there is anything in the water that we can find and does it correlate with any rash we are seeing. We're in a situation that's a little bit unprecedented. It hasn't happened to other people so we're all trying to keep an open mind and trying to gather as much accurate information as we can."
The state Department of Health and Human Services is investigating the rashes searching for the source of the outbreak.
