A reward is being offered in the investigation of the two horses that were shot to death last week.

Local businessman, Michael Dyer, is offering $500 for people to come forth with any information leading to an arrest. Dyer said, he had to do this for the community especially because the Eaton County Police have no leads.

Since Dyer announced that reward, twelve people have added to Dyer's initial five hundred dollars. He told FOX 47 News that they have raised nearly three thousand dollars. State Senator Rick Jones is contributing $1,000.

The horses' owner Kelsie Newman, said she is thankful for the support, and hopes the reward will help the police catch the shooter. You can call the Eaton County sheriff's office with any information about the horse shooting.
