School uses app to stop bullying
Posted

A school district in Wisconsin is using technology to crack down on bullying.

The district in Gilman launched a new app on Monday called "Stop-it."

This app allows students to anonymously report bullying at any time.

The app is simple...all students have to do is open the app, enter the access code provided by school officials, and click report to send out a message, video or photo.

A school official will receive the message and will be able to chat with the student anonymously.

The school's principal says that app will make a big difference, adding that many students have already downloaded the new app.
