The latest poll in the race for governor has the front runners way ahead of their competitors.

For the Republican side , 42% told Epic-MRA they would vote for state Attorney General Bill Schuette.

In second with 24% is Lieutenant Governor Brain Calley.

State Senator Patrick Colbeck received 11% and Doctor Jim Hines received 8%.

15% of Republican voters in the poll say they are undecided.

For the Democrats, 49% chose former State Senator Gretchen Whitmer compared to 22% for businessman Shri Thanedar and 19% for former Detroit Department of Health Executive Director Abdul El-Sayed.

10% of Democrat voters in the poll say they are undecided.

The poll has a margin of error of three-point-one percent.
