Republican candidate for U.S Senate Sandy Pensler turned in signatures to get on Michigan's August primary ballot.

The Grosse Pointe businessman turned in about 27 thousand signatures.

Pensler says he supports President Donald Trump on trade, immigration, taxes, and limiting regulations.

Pensler and fellow Republicans John James, Bob Carr and William White are running to unseat Democratic incumbent U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow.
