Incumbent U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow is criss-crossing the state on Monday ahead of election day.
She's facing off against Republican challenger John James.
In Lansing this morning Stabenow told News 10 she's feeling confident about her party's chances of regaining control in Washington.
"I feel very good that we'll take back the U.S House, and I hope I'm going to come roaring back with the help of people in Lansing," she said. "And I think it will be close in the senate. But it will give us the opportunity to turn the corner and focus on the priorities that are so important for our families."
Republicans control state government, and Democrats are eager to bounce back after being out of power for eight years.
