A section of beach at Grand Haven State Park is scheduled to re-open today, after a construction accident shuts it down.
Constructions crews were using a back hoe and a bulldozer to remove a tree from the water yesterday when they lost traction and slid into Lake Michigan.
The beach was closed to the public because of a small amount of oil leaking out of the machinery.
Authorities say both pieces of machinery were removed last night, and no one was injured.
