LANSING, Mich. — Get ready for spooky fun at the movies! Celebration Cinema announced its Halloween programming this week. In addition to terrific new horror/thriller movies like POSSESSOR UNCUT and THE EMPTY MAN featured in their indoor theatre programming, there are a whole range of outdoor options for families, teens and adult movie-lovers to choose from.

The Getty Drive In, located in Muskegon, will host ‘Flick or Treat’ on October 31st, with minor modifications to its traditional Halloween at the Getty Programming. THE ADDAMS FAMILY and HOCUS POCUS will double feature on the gigantic outdoor screen. Tickets are $5.00 per person. Gates open at 5:30pm with the movies to begin at 7:15pm. The Getty staff will be awarding prizes for best costumes and delivering sweet treats directly to each car!

“Halloween is the perfect holiday for 2020,” says Kevin Sims, manager of the Getty Drive In. “Folks are outside, wearing costumes and even masks. We’ll provide the popcorn, the candy and stories to make you shiver... in a good way!”

Pop Up Drive Ins at Celebration Cinema North Grand Rapids and Celebration Cinema Lansing are presenting a whole week of spine-tingling features: beginning with SCREAM on October 23, followed by NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on the 24th and HALLOWEEN (1978) on October 30th. Tickets are $20.00 per car.

Pop Up Drive Ins will also host ‘Flick or Treat’ with a presentation of the ADDAMS FAMILY on Saturday, October 31st, Halloween night! All Flick or Treat events will include the delivery of Halloween treats directly to drive in movie-goer's cars. The movie will begin when the sky grows dark, at 7:15pm.

Studio Park, in Downtown Grand Rapids, will host an all-day Halloween extravaganza. A $20.00 reservation can be made for a 4-person picnic space, with chairs included, to any of the following movies:

· 11:30 Hotel Transylvania 2 (PG)
· 1:30 The House With a Clock in its Walls (PG)
· 4:00 Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween (PG-13)
