A cargo train slammed into a car stuck on the snow-covered tracks early Tuesday morning in Meridian Township.
Police tell us it happened on Carlton Street between Haslett and Lake Drive, just after 2:00 a.m.
We're told the blowing snow confused the driver and her car ended up stalling on the tracks.
She got out, but a train was on the way and couldn't stop.
The cargo train hit the car, pushing it hundreds of feet down the track before eventually coming to a stop. No one was hurt.
