An Eaton County mother will go on trial Monday morning after confessing to shaking her then two-month-old baby.
Taylor Prahl-Six of Olivet is currently being charged with two felony counts of first-degree child abuse.
Prahl-Six could possibly be sentenced to life in prison or any term of years.
An detective with the Eaton County Sheriff's Office testified in court that back in early July he was investigating a child abuse complaint.
At the time, Braxton was in the ICU and had brain bleeds, along with a skull fracture. An MRI showed blood in the spinal cord which suggested shaken baby syndrome.
Prahl-Six confessed to the detective to 'forcibly throwing' Braxton into a pack and play sleeper out of frustration. She later added to her confession saying that she also shook Braxton on a couple of occasions as well.
FOX 47 News will be at the trial.
