A major winter storm is predicted to hit the Lansing metro area this week with some of the snowiest and coldest weather yet this winter. Four to eight inches of snow are possible Monday in Ingham County. Though high temperatures will sit in the upper 20s, gusty winds will create wind chills between -5 and -15 degrees, as well as cause blowing and drifting snow. Temperatures will then gradually decrease before bottoming out around -10 Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
