A COVID-19 survivor from Southfield has made it his purpose to help other people survive this virus too. For him it starts with being tested and educated, which is happening this Saturday, all in one place. And for free!

Our Andrea Isom sits down with him and other like-minded folks who are part of the cause.

Dozens of entities have come together for a COVID-19 Testing and Health Education Fair. Everyone is welcome to attend. It starts at 9 a.m. and runs through noon.

There will be testing for COVID-19 and other health conditions. Flu shots will also be administered. The medical professionals and others will also be assessing social circumstances, as well. Like determining if you have food or housing insecurities.

This initiative is about helping families become or stay healthy, in every aspect of their lives.

All of the event information is attached below.
