Man fires 14 rounds at driver during road rage incident on I-94 in Detroit

Michigan State Police say a man turned himself in after shooting another driver during a road rage incident on I-94 in Detroit late Sunday night.

According to police, it happened about 10:50 p.m. Sunday on I-94 near I-75. There was an altercation between two drivers and during the altercation, a 34-year-old man fired 14 rounds at a 33-year-old man.

The victim was struck multiple times and drove himself to the emergency room at Henry Ford Hospital.

The suspect then drove himself home and told family members about the incident. Police say a family member drove him to a Detroit police precinct to turn himself in.

Michigan State Police troopers took him into custody and also recovered his vehicle and gun. They are still investigating, and the victim's condition is not known.
