It’s a bot that chats like a teenager--and now it needs your help to learn.
We're "totes" not even kidding you right now.
Microsoft has developed Tay, an artificial intelligence chatbot that's ready to converse on Twitter, Kik and GroupMe.
According to the bot’s site, her purpose is to help the Microsoft team learn more about conversational understanding. She was developed using a combination of public data, artificial intelligence and editorial content.
Tay is targeted at 18 to 24-year-olds in the U.S. and designed to "entertain people in playful conversation."
She’s been having endless Twitter convos since her launch. Her twitter handle @TayandYou has already tweeted more than 96,000 responses.
Her profile notes the more you tweet at her, the smarter she gets.
Tay may also use data you provide to personalize the experience, according to Microsoft.
