Michigan does offer registration on Election Day at designated locations in each town. It is not available at your polling place.

Monday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.: Deadline to request and fill out absentee ballot in-person at local clerk's office if you're already registered to vote.
Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m.: Deadline to request and fill out absentee in-person at local clerk's office if you are registering to vote or updating your address.

Any eligible voter can also vote early in-person at your county board of elections, starting on the day after voter registration closes (Oct. 21).
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
By law, every Michigan voter must present picture identification at the polls, or sign an affidavit attesting that he or she is not in possession of picture identification.
