FOX 47 learned of some issues with voter equipment on Tuesday at a couple of different polling centers.
The malfunctioning equipment has lead to voters placing their ballots into a large bin rather than a voting machine.
Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum told us that's standard policy when equipment doesn't work.
"Those voted ballots would be placed in an auxiliary bin, and then later when the tabulator is brought back online or cleaned or whatever the case may be, those ballots are then fed through the tabulator by a Democrat and a Republican."
She added that people should feel confident that their votes will be counted.
