McDonald’s new gray-on-gray employee uniforms are turning heads.
The fast food giant said 85,000 employees across the country are now wearing the new uniforms. The company also says 75 percent of the employees said in a recent survey that they liked the new uniforms.
But not everyone is lovin’ it. People on social media are comparing the uniforms to “modern dystopia” and Star Wars.

I personally think this should have been the new uniform for @McDonalds employees... pic.twitter.com/79QyAIXww2

The new gear is a big departure from the classic red and yellow attire. Designer Waraire Bosewll used to work at McDonald’s, and said he wanted to create something that employees wouldn’t mind wearing outside of work.
