The Detroit Red Wings have unveiled the 2018-19 preseason schedule with their first game kicking off in just over three months.
They'll face off against three Original Six teams; the Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs, with their other two games against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The team will open the preseason at home on Wednesday, Sept. 19 against the Penguins before hosting the Blackhawks on Sept. 20 and Bruins on Sept. 22.
Detroit will then go on the road against Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston and Toronto before closing out the preseason on Saturday, Sept. 29 against the Maple Leafs at Little Caesars Arena.
Tickets for the games go on sale Monday, Aug. 6 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com. at the box office or by phone at 313-471-7575.
