The Detroit Tigers open the 2019 home season at Comerica Park on April 4 for Opening Day.
With Opening Day falling on a Thursday this year, the Tigers have an excuse note for you in case you want to skip work or school.
The team posted an excuse slip on Facebook – all you have to do is fill in the blanks and hand it over to your employer or school. It's signed, "Thanks in advance, the Detroit Tigers."
Of course, there's no guarantee the slip will actually get you out of your work responsibilities.
