Former first lady Melania Trump and Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump made an appearance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night in Milwaukee.
The former first lady calmly walked out before a crowd of supporters and made her way into the seats to stand next to vice presidential pick JD Vance as she waved to the crowd.
Former President Donald Trump spoke onstage for the first time shortly after, emotionally revisiting the moments before and after surviving an attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Trump later would tell the RNC crowd, "As you already know, the assassin’s bullet came within a quarter of an inch of taking my life. So many people have asked me what happened, and therefore, I’ll tell you what happened, and you’ll never hear it from me a second time, because it’s too painful to tell."
Earlier this week the former first lady issued a statement that read, "When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband."
