FireKeepers Casino Hotel is reopening on Monday morning with new safety measures being implemented to keep people safe as the pandemic continues.

"Please do not visit FireKeepers Casino Hotel if you have a fever, if you are not feeling well, have recently traveled outside of the U.S., or have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19. Stay home and visit when the time is right," the casino said on it's website.

First, FireKeepers said all guests and employees are required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times.

There will also be self-service kiosks to take your temperature every time you enter the casino. Anyone with temperatures 100 degrees or higher won't be able to enter.

The casino said it will have cleaners moving throughout the property cleaning everything from slot machines to high-touch areas.

For social distancing, the following areas are closed until further notice:

  • Valet Parking
  • Self Park Garage
  • Mijem Buffet
  • Chi Mon-ee’s
  • Poker
  • Bingo
  • Bus Marketing
  • Hotel Pool & Fitness Center
  • Self-service beverage stations

The casino will also have limited gaming. About half of the slot machines will be active and there will be limitations on the number of people playing table games. Guests also cannot stand immediately behind a seated table games player.
