MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Justin Turner scored 12 straight points in overtime, finishing with 30 and securing Bowling Green's 97-87 win over Central Michigan in a clash of Mid-American Conference unbeatens on Saturday.

Antwon Lillard scored first in OT and, with the 80-78 lead, Bowling Green (11-5, 3-0) never trailed again. Kevin McKay forged an 84-84 tie with a 3-pointer and that's when Turner took over.

He answered McKay with a drive at the other end, turning it into a 3-point play. Turner broke an 87-87 tie with a 3-pointer and scored a dagger of a jump shot after Central Michigan missed twice.

From there Turner finished with four straight free throws and the Chippewas did not score in the last two minutes.

Michael Laster scored 18 for Bowling Green, which placed five in double figures. The Falcons have won their last seven, all by double figures, the longest win streak since 2001-02.

Larry Austin scored 26 points with 11 rebounds — his second double-double of the week — and added six assists, three steals and two blocks to lead the Chippewas (13-3, 2-1), who saw an eight-game streak end.
