The Michigan Wolverines have moved up to No. 4 on the College Football Playoff ranking after routing Penn State on Saturday, 42-14.
The Wolverines sit behind Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame in the rankings and moved up from No. 5 last week. If the season were to end today, the Wolverines would face the Crimson Tide in the playoff semifinal.
Next week, Michigan takes on Rutgers on the road before facing Indiana at home and finishing the season on the road against Ohio State
Also, the Michigan State Spartans rose to No. 18 after their win over Maryland last weekend. They take on No. 10 Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.
