The Horizon League released its 2021 men's basketball tournament bracket Saturday night.
The conference seeded teams using a formula that considered four factors: Horizon League winning percentage, strength of schedule, weighting road wins vs. home wins, and number of Horizon League games played.
Oakland (10-17, 10-10 HL) is the No. 3 seed, earning a bye into the quarterfinal round. Detroit Mercy (11-9, 10-6 HL) is the No. 5 seed and will play a home game in the opening round.
Opening round (February 25) and quarterfinal games (March 2) will be played at campus sites, with semifinal and championship games (March 8-9) played at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis.
