He calls it the "greatest hockey/golf shirt on earth."
It's hard to argue with Daniel Edison.
The self-described single hockey dad of three boys has worked as his only employee during the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to showcase his product to golfers.
Edison is the founder and CEO of Toe Drag hockey apparel. He makes golf shirts designed to look like hockey sweaters. People can custom order their hockey/golf shirt from his website, toedragapparel.com. Edison runs the business as a one-man show.
The shirt designs are themed to look like NHL teams, but Edison encourages people to upload their own youth or beer league team logos.
He played junior hockey for the Lakeland Jets and lived in Commerce before moving to Chicago.
Edison shared with us a Ted Lindsay shirt, and a youth-sized Dylan Larkin shirt.
