(WXYZ) — We went to send our congratulations to Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, who are reportedly expecting their first child.
The Goffs showed up on the NFL Awards red carpet on Thursday and spoke exclusively to PEOPLE Magazine.
"I'm looking forward to becoming a dad," Goff told PEOPLE.
"We're just excited to enjoy this special time together and just soak up every second," Harper added.
PEOPLE reports that the couple is expecting a baby girl who will be born at the start of the summer.
