The Tigers made a dream come true for an 18-year-old from Hartland on Friday night.

Kyle Van Houten has been to all 30 MLB parks. His wish is to attend the All-Star Game. Van Houten has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which causes progressive weakening of the muscles.

Through Make-A-Wish and the Tigers, Michael Fulmer surprised Van Houten before Friday night's game. The teen threw the first pitch to Fulmer, and the Tigers pitcher took a microphone to announce to the Comerica Park crowd he had a message for Van Houten.

A group of former All-Stars joined Fulmer on the field, and approached Van Houten with a giant ticket to the 2018 All-Star Game and a giant plane ticket to Washington, D.C.

Victor Martinez, Jordan Zimmermann, Francisco Liriano, Jose Iglesias helped make Van Houten's wish become a reality.
