Mackenzie MacEachern celebrated last summer with the Stanley Cup. This year, he's celebrating a new contract.

The St. Louis Blues agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with the former Michigan State and Brother Rice standout.

MacEachern, 26, is set to earn an average of $900,000 per season. The deal is a one-way contract, which means he gets that salary if he's in the NHL or in the minors.

The Bloomfield Hills native played 29 games as a rookie on the 2018-19 Stanley Cup-winning team. MacEachern has played in 51 games this current season, amassing seven goals and three assists.
