Patricia: Sideline best place for Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes leads the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns, as the Chiefs come to Ford Field to try and remain undefeated.

Defensive minded head coach Matt Patricia will certainly be putting together a game plan to slow down one of the hottest offenses in the league, but if he had to chose where he'd like to see Mahomes the most on Sunday, it wouldn't be in the pocket or scrambling outside of it.

"On the sidelines is where I'd like to see him most, he's just a really good player and every single play is extremely dangerous," Patricia said of the third-year star Chiefs quarterback.

There are only eight unbeaten teams left in the NFL, and while plenty of people outside of the practice facility are looking at this game as a show me statement game, the Lions are taking a different approach.

"Every week is important, the biggest game is this game because it's the next game, It's September, it's still early so we're still trying to get better," Patricia added.
