An organization that represents dozens of fraternities at Michigan State is trying to make it harder for students to get a hold of hard liquor.
On October 10th, the President's Council and the legislative body of Interfraternity Council at Michigan State voted to ban all alcohol above 15% ABV (alcohol by volume) from chapter facilities and events, except when the alcohol is served by licensed third-party vendors.
Council members made this decision to limit high-risk behavior on campus and in the community.
