EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University is trying to get a big name to speak about sexual assault during It's on Us week.
The university reached out to Terry Crews, a Michigan native and sexual assault survivor.
Crews has been criticized for what he charges for public appearances.
He took to Twitter on Tuesday to respond, saying this:
"Speaking on behalf of sexual assault survivors, free.
Speaking on behalf of a university that has routinely aided and abetted abusers, $100,000."
FOX 47 News will keep you posted on if he will make an appearance at MSU.
