CHICAGO, IL — Spartans move on in the Big Ten Tournament after a 77-70 win over Ohio State Friday afternoon.
Head coach Tom Izzo recorded his 600th career win on Friday, a milestone that he acknowledged but also wanted to keep in perspective.
"You can't change your program until you build your culture. That's not something that you build in two, three, four years if you want to build it the right way. I tell those guys to follow coach K, Jim Boeheim, and you'll get to 1,200 wins instead of 600. That's what I'd tell them."
If you know Tom Izzo, you'd know that all he cares about right now is recording his 601st career win.
