The MSU College of Music is proud to present the MSU Chamber Music Festival in its inaugural season. Festival performances will take place on November 2nd and 3rd in Cook Recital Hall of the Music Building, with additional master classes on November 4th at the Community Music School.
Performances will feature MSU students and faculty as well as the internationally acclaimed Euclid Quartet. A highly regarded chamber ensemble, the Euclid Quartet’s diverse members include violinist Jameson Cooper of Great Britain, violinist Brendan Shea of the United States, violist Luis Enrique Vargas of Venezuela, and cellist Jacqueline Choi of South Korea. Together they have been enchanting audiences throughout the country since 1998.

An exciting performance by undergraduate and graduate MSU Music students, this concert will feature wind, brass and string chamber music groups performing a variety of works.
Saturday, November 3
Sensory Friendly Spartan Concert [music.msu.edu]
3 p.m. Cook Recital Hall, Music Building, Free
All are welcome to this concert designed to serve the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum or people with sensory sensitivities or impairments. Chamber groups will be set up in a unique configuration in the recital hall.

Artist-faculty and Euclid Quartet [music.msu.edu]
8 p.m. Cook Recital Hall, Music Building, General Admission
Featuring Clarinet Quintet by Brahms performed by the Euclid Quartet joined by clarinetist and MSU Assistant Professor of Chamber Music Tasha Warren. Other works include Trio for Spry Clarinet, Weeping Cello and Ruminating Harp by Gilad Cohen with guest cellist Pablo Mahave-Veglia and MSU Assistant Professor of Harp Chen-Yu Huang.
