LANSING, Mich. — Some spots on the roads may be slick this morning due to light overnight snow and freezing fog. Fog should clear by 10 A.M. and then we will have mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day with a few flurries this afternoon and evening. It continues to be cold with highs in the mid 20s.
Some sunshine will be around for the weekend! The next chance for snow will come on Sunday evening with temperatures near the freezing mark. Some locations closer to the Indiana border may have to contend with a bit of a rain/snow mix, otherwise 2" to 3" are possible. Perhaps the biggest story in the extended forecast will be warming temps. Average highs for this time of the year are in the mid 30s and we will likely meet, if not exceed, that mark by early next week.
TODAY: Some light snow possible. Highs in the middle 20s. West-southwest winds at 6 to 12 mph.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Flurries possible during the morning. Highs in the mid 20s. Winds southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Increasing clouds with evening snow developing. Highs in the lower 30s.
