Today's Forecast: Mostly cloudy with light snow on the way

LANSING, Mich. — Snow continues this morning as the system snow and lake enhanced snow shifted to more of a lake-effect set up into this morning, then slowly fall apart to light snow showers and flurries by Sunday evening. Sunday night into Monday, more light snow will arrive but accumulations will be held in check. Another 1" to 2" is possible heading into Monday morning. The cold and snow will not let up any time soon. We have temps in the teens and lower 20s along with snow every day into next weekend.

TODAY: Cloudy with scattered light snow showers. Highs in the lower to mid-teens.

TONIGHT: Light snow and cloudy. Lows in the single digits.

MONDAY: Cloudy with scattered light snow showers. Heavier snow develops late. Highs in the upper teens.

TUESDAY: Cloudy with scattered snow showers, heaviest in the morning. Highs around 20.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with a few snow showers. This will likely be the least snowy day of the week. Highs in the upper teens.

THURSDAY: Cloudy with snow developing late in the day/evening. Highs in the lower 20s.
