LANSING, Mich. — Light snow showers will be possible, with up to one inch possible. A better chance of snow will be with the next big push of colder air tonight into Saturday, with snow continuing into Sunday. The Saturday snow will bring a widespread 1" to 2" with the heaviest south of I-96. All in all, 2" to 4" of additional snow will likely be on the ground by late Saturday.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy. Snow showers continue along and west of US-131. Accumulation of around one inch or less. Highs in the low/mid 20s. Winds east/north at 5 to 10 mph.
TONIGHT: Cloudy with widespread steady, but light snow developing. An inch or so possible. Lows in the low/mid tens. Winds north/northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with snow. Accumulations of 1" to 3" likely by late Saturday. Highs around 20. Winds light/variable.
SUNDAY: Cold start to the day in the lower single digits. Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Highs in the middle teens.
MONDAY: This may be our coldest day of the season! Partly cloudy to partly sunny. Highs in the lower teens. Morning temperatures just below zero.
